Changelog

What's new in Geoframe.

Every release, every fix, every milestone. Newest at the top.

  1. v1.0.2 May 25, 2026

    Air routes.

    New

    • Drive / Air toggle on the route tool. Air draws a great-circle arc that stays continuous across the dateline, for flight paths and long-haul travel videos.
  2. v1.0.1 May 21, 2026

Licensing options and a more reliable AE bridge.

    New

    • Three-path licensing. Keys from Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, and the offline issuer all activate the same app, so customers can buy through whichever storefront they prefer.

    Fixed

    • After Effects bridge installs reliably. The Map Studio Bridge panel now self-heals on every app launch, so it shows up under Window > Extensions even if you installed Geoframe to Program Files or ran the installer as administrator. Removed the stale "drop the .jsx file into ScriptUI Panels" instruction and dead download link.
    • White edge on zoomed-out exports. Basemap tiles now wrap correctly across the antimeridian, so global views render cleanly.
  3. v1.0 May 11, 2026

    First public release

The version everyone gets when they download Geoframe for the first time.

    What's in it

    • Standalone desktop map editor with Leaflet basemap, painted regions, OSM administrative boundaries, route drawing with origin/waypoint/destination markers, labels, and project save/load.
    • One-click bridge to After Effects - basemap PNG, routes, region fills, OSM borders, and labels all imported as native, editable shape and text layers.
    • Pixel-perfect alignment between basemap and overlay layers (independent X/Y projection so AE renders match the canvas exactly).
    • Multi-layer painting - stack world countries and US states with transparent overlays.
    • Export PNG / SVG / ZIP (vector text + paths stay crisp at any DPI).
    • Lifetime license per major version. 14-day free trial, no card required.
